RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
2000 – present On going research into the isolation and characterization of bacteria in Bahamian carbonates and their role in rock dissolution (cave development), examining N2, NO2, and CO2 production from carbonate rocks using stable isotope; examining heavy metals in Saharan dust as micronutrients for bacteria, and examining newly discovered paleo-features in carbonate sands formed by bacteria.
